Jennifer Hodges, a teacher from Kenny Lake, has spearheaded a remarkable transformation in reading skills within her multi-grade classroom at Kenny Lake School.

As a participant in the inaugural LETRS cohort, Mrs. Hodges quickly mastered the coursework, making an immediate impact on her students in the Copper River School District. Her dedication to professional development led her to enroll in the Alaska Reading Endorsement Program and LETRS Certified Facilitators program where she further honed her expertise in reading instruction.

Mrs. Hodges's commitment to implementing evidence-based practices has resulted in significant gains in her students' reading, writing, spelling and comprehension. Her tireless efforts make her a true Science of Reading Ambassador, inspiring both colleagues and students alike.
